EDEXCEL/AQA Access Arrangements

If you require an application for a candidate with physical disabilities, please fill in this form.

If you require an application for a candidate with learning difficulties, please download this form. This application has to be accompanied by a filled Personal Data Consent from Examination Candidate Form.

The form needs to be filled in as follows:

Parts 1 and 3 need to be filled, signed and endorsed by the school. Part 2 needs to be filled, signed and endorsed by a specialist.

There is also another Form 9 which must only be used for:

  • candidates with communication and interaction needs
  • candidates with a medical condition (formally diagnosed by a registered specialist)
  • candidates with sensory and/or physical needs
  • candidates with social, emotional and mental healthy needs
  • candidates with speech, language and communication needs
  • candidates with learning difficulties who require a computer reader/reader but do not require extra time or a scribe
  • all candidates requiring supervised rest breaks
  • all candidates requiring extra time only

The completed form must be sent by email to Ms Gertrude Wachter on gertrude.wachter@gov.mt between 1st December 2025 and 13th January 2026. Late applications for Examination Access Arrangements will not be accepted with late registrations for May/June examination session.
