EDEXCEL/AQA Access Arrangements

Candidates with Physical/Mobility Disabilities (No Extra Time Required)

If you are applying for access arrangements for a candidate with physical or mobility disabilities and no extra time is being requested, please complete this form.

Candidates with Learning Difficulties

If you are applying for a candidate with learning difficulties, such as dyslexia or dyscalculia, please download and complete this form.  

The form must be completed as follows:

• Parts 1 and 3 must be completed, signed, and endorsed by the school.
• Part 2 must be completed, signed, and endorsed by an appropriately qualified specialist.

Candidates with Physical Disabilities, Sensory Impairments, or Medical Conditions

If you are applying for a candidate with a physical disability, sensory impairment, or medical condition (including ADHD, ASD, or mental health conditions), please complete this form.

Applications Requesting Extra Time

For candidates requesting extra time, the completed application form must be accompanied by the following supporting evidence:

• Copy of samples of internal school assessments or mock examination papers across the relevant subjects demonstrating the candidate’s use of extra time.
• Comments and observations from subject teachers explaining:
  • why the candidate requires extra time; and
  • how the candidate makes effective use of the additional time granted.
• Evidence showing that supervised rest breaks have been trialled and found insufficient to meet the candidate’s needs

Submission of Applications

The completed application form and all supporting documentation must be submitted by email to Ms Raiza Pisani at raiza.mizzi@gov.mt during the application period specified for the relevant examination session under the Registrations section.
